Yesterday the husband

and I visited an AT&T store to scope out the iPhone (it looks so cool!).  And while the staff couldn’t confirm the next gen iPhone (they also wouldn’t tell me if I could jailbreak the iPhone to work on the Verizon network too), I found out online that not only is it coming, but most likely, there will be a case redesign as well!  To  wit:

….Rumors that Apple’s 3G iPhone is on the way are coming faster by the day, and now images of the alleged next generation iPhone are beginning to surface, too. Apparently the new iPhone will also sport a glossy black back, replacing the satin nickel look found on the current model….MORE….

Of course, for me, the beeyon dollar question is how on earth will I be able to keep this beastie in my pocket without breaking it?  I don’t carry a handbag.  

Of such questions, epic quests are born….
